Jason Hackley
DIRECTOR OF BANDS

Mr. Jason Hackley is the Director of Bands at Cordova High School in Cordova, Tennessee. A native Californian, Mr. Hackley graduated from The University of Memphis with a Bachelors of Music in the spring of 2006. Prior to teaching at Cordova, Mr. Hackley was the Director of Bands at Craigmont High School in Memphis, TN for three years. Under Mr. Hackley’s tenure, the Craigmont band received numerous achievements at local and National festivals and events. Mr Hackley is also a private trumpet instructor for students ranging in ability from beginning to advanced. In addition, Mr. Hackley is a program consultant and visual designer for several bands in West Tennessee as well as other parts of the country. His designs have made way from coast to coast, having been performed by schools from California to Virginia.

Brittany Winfrey

Brittany Winfrey is 24 years old and is attending Southwest Community College, where she is working on a Physical Therapy Assistant major. Brittany has 3 years of ballet and jazz dance experience and 1 year of modern/contemporary. She first started colorguard with Marion Senior High School in 1999, and marched through her graduating year in 2004. Also in 2004 she began marching in DCI with the Memphis Sound Drum and Bugle corps, where she marched three consecutive years on weapon and flag with sound. Brittany didn't age out with Memphis Sound because she began teaching at Fayette Academy in 2007. She taught at Fayette Academy for 2 years, whereas at the end of her tenure the guard placed 2nd in the State of Tennessee in their division. Brittany also served 2 years on Arkansas State University's colorguard, as well as choreographing a portion of the halftime show in 2005.
