13th Annual Wolf River Marching Classic - Saturday, October 8, 2011 (now partnered with USSBA!)

Each year in October, the drums will sound, the music will flow, the colors will dance, and the crowd will be entertained by one of the premier marching events held in West Tennessee. We normally expect around 25 bands from Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. With these bands come thousands of screaming marching band fans hungry for entertainment and all the things that come with our high quality program.

As a participant or as a sponsor in this event you will be helping to support the ever growing, award winning music program at Cordova High School and all of the fantastic bands coming to compete on the field in Cordova. So how can you sign up? To sign up, complete the next page which is a form, someone will contact you with additional information.

If you sign up to perform, you will be treated royally from having fun and comraderie with your peers, great food at the concession stands, to being scored by well-known and competent judges.   Most of the bands who have participated in this event say it is one of the great highlights of their marching season.  

If you sign up to sponsor a Wolf River trophy, you have the opportunity to present the trophy to the band on the field as well as having the sponsorship announced over the public address system. Your name will also be listed as a sponsor in our program.

This year Cadets of Cordova are proud to announce a partnership with USSBA for our contest this season. The show will be a USSBA Silver Show. This entails four judges: 2 music ensemble, 1 visual, and 1 overall effect. We feel that this format works very well and will serve the needs of the incoming directors with quality adjudication and feedback. To register for the event you music register with USSBA HERE.
